Really, folks? Really?

I was at Wal-mart today and the "as seen on TV!" section caught my eye (I have an almost-3 year old who insists she needs a pillow pet for her upcoming birthday).  To my horror, this little number was front and center.

Really, folks?  Really?  Has society really gotten to the point that zip-up adult jammies are this year's must-have Christmas item.  I thought the snuggie was bad enough, but do we really need "zippered hatches in front and back, for great escapes when duty calls?"

Heaven help us.

  1. Ew gross. I bet it feels like dead mangy monkey fur, just like the snuggies. *shudder* I like that the pink is called "Hanky Pinky". There ain't no way anyone is getting any hanky panky wearing one of those. Talk about birth control...

  2. Ha, ha, come on Whit...all the cool kids are wearing them! K...truly and honestly the worst creation. Seriously if I ever needed a zippered bottomed pair of pajamas...or whatever they reeeeally are, I better be in a coma. Ewww. I agree with Kristin. Hanky Pinky--can you just imagine saying "come on baby let's hanky-panky in my pinky....wait I need to unzip out of this giant sized pair of baby jammies". Now that is HOT.

  4. The pink one would be perfect for a Patrick from Spongebob costume.

  6. I agree with all said...even sharon. Can't you see their faces when you give them to someone as gifts. I'm chortling to myself here perched on my hard wooden chair in the dirty kitchen. Yep, that funny...maybe for Dale this year...

  7. I do not one, thanks anyway. I had never heard of these until I read this post, and then just the other day we saw an informercial for them, how funny.

P.S. My favorite part are the zipper hatches in back, classic.
